For established leaders, coaching can also offer space to step back and think about what their role now asks of them.
I work with Chief Executives, board members and senior leaders across a wide range of sectors, including charities and social enterprises, public services, education, financial services and professional services. My clients are often taking on a new role or considering what they want from the next stage of their career. Coaching offers space to think carefully about that transition and what it means for them.

Alongside my coaching practice, I advise Boards on Chief Executive and senior leadership appointments across public and social purpose organisations. I understand how leaders are assessed by those appointing them, and how different a role can feel once they are in it. That perspective informs my coaching, whether someone is navigating a transition or considering how they lead an organisation they already know well.

About me
I’m Juliet Brown. I’ve spent over twenty years working alongside senior leaders and advising Boards on the people they appoint. That experience gives me a close understanding of the expectations leaders face and the complexity of the relationships around them.
What I enjoy most about coaching is the conversation that becomes possible when someone has room to think openly, without needing to have the answer ready. I bring an informed perspective and a warm, straightforward approach, with room for humour. I listen closely, make connections and ask questions that help people see their situation differently.
Alongside my coaching practice, I am a Partner in an executive search firm, advising Boards on Chief Executive and senior leadership appointments across public and social purpose organisations. This gives me a close understanding of the expectations leaders face, both when they take on a role and as they become established in it.
I am an ILM Level 7 qualified coach and a Senior Practitioner accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. I am also a trustee of Smart Works Charity, a national charity supporting women into employment.
